Eothen, by A. W. Kinglake 43684 [Subtitle: with an introduction and notes] [Link: http://www.gutenberg.org/4/3/6/8/43684 ] [Files: 43684-0.txt; 43684-h.htm] Many thanks to UK volunteer Les Bowler for transcribing this. For those wishing to know: Eothen is one of the classic books of English travel and has been reprinted times without number. This edition adds a very detailed introduction (anonymous) and useful notes on the text. The Little Library, from which the book comes, usually had experts to introduce the books, and whoever wrote the introduction was an expert on the Middle East. All the best, David, England with multicoloured clouds and warm breezes
