Dowling 58027 [Link: http://www.gutenberg.org/5/8/0/2/58027 ] [Files: 58027-0.txt; 58027-h.htm] For those wishing to know: John Church (c1780-1826?) had been found guilty of sexual assault against Adam Foreman aged 18 in the 1817 trial, but sentencing took place some time later. The publisher Hay and Turner therefore produced a pamphlet on the trial, and then brought this one out about the sentence: meaning everyone paid twice!
