You just posted this text. I also have a ePub version, I am still tweaking, but nearly ready. Currently PG offers automatically generated ePubs, but I am not really satisfied with these, and would love to see these replaced by better copies, generated directly from the TEI master format I use. What would be needed from the WW side to also post these.
Note that internally, ePub versions are just a container format: a zip file with inside a bunch of XHTML files, the images, and a few files with additional metadata. The XHTML is the same as the HTML I normally supply, except that it now is validating against XHTML 1.1, and split into smaller chunks. All these can be automatically validated, using various tools.
If I prepare them, I can also drop the PG small print and header inside.
