Rome, Turkey, and Jerusalem, by Edward Hoare 39290 [Link: http://www.gutenberg.org/3/9/2/9/39290 ] [Files: 39290-0.txt; 39290-h.htm] For those wishing to know: Edward Hoare, vicar of Holy Trinity church, Tunbridge Wells, England, preached a series of sermons on the prophetic aspects of Christianity, and in particular the events leading up to the return to Christ. This book is the printed edition of the sermons, no doubt edited from the verbal to the written form (although Hoare did read his sermons). It was preached/written around 1876 and so it's interesting to see what evangelical believers made of the prophercies then. This is the second edition of the book, which adds quite a bit of new material (mainly on Jerusalem). All the best, David, England, very hot
