The Gathering of the Nations, by Anonymous 53931 [Link: http://www.gutenberg.org/5/3/9/3/53931 ] [Files: 53931-0.txt; 53931-h.htm] For those wishing to know: this is one of a large series of evengelical tracts, mostly 8 pages each, published in the 1850/60s. This is a typical formula: it describes the International Exhibition of 1862 as a Gathering of the Nations, then quickly starts talking about after the end of the world when all nations would gather before God, and those who weren't religious would be in trouble. A local clergyman, John Stoughton, preached a series of sermons on the topic and published a book (in Gutenberg) which I think was probably a lot more successful. All the best, David, England with the cold on the way
