A Topographical Account of Market Lavington, by Henry Atley 58146 [Link: http://www.gutenberg.org/5/8/1/4/58146 ] [Files: 58146-0.txt; 58146-h.htm] For those wishing to know: the Rev. Henry Atley (1799-1881), an independent minister, published this account of the small town of Market Lavington, where is worked, in 1855. He spends quite a bit of the book on Church matters but that's understandable, as there wasn't a lot else there. It also includes an account of David Saunders the shepherd of Salisbury Plain, who was the subject of various pious tracts and lived in the area. All the best, David, Windy England, quite warm
