The Dying Gipsy, by Rev George Crabb 62054 [Link: http://www.gutenberg.org/6/2/0/5/62054 ] [Files: 62054-0.txt; 62054-h.htm] For those wishing to know: this is a short anonymous tract, one of hundreds published by the Religious Tract Society (England) in the 19th century. Fortunately, the Hampshire Advertiser newspaper of 2 January 1847 mentions this tract in a report given by the author, the Rev. George Crabb, known at the time as "The Gipsies' Friend." It relates the death of an 80 year old gipsy called Stanley, near the town of Petersfield. All the best, David, Sunny England
