Christmas Evans, by Paxton Hood 41480 [Subtitle: The Preacher of Wild Wales: His country, his times, and his contemporaries] [Link: http://www.gutenberg.org/4/1/4/8/41480 ] [Files: 41480-0.txt; 41480-h.htm] For those wishing to know: Christmas Evans (born on Christmas day, 1766) is probably the most famous of the Welsh preachers of the "Wild Wales" period. The book includes many of his sermons as well as what biographical information is known, but more importantly looks at the context of his life and is a good introduction to Welsh independant religion before and during his life. All the best, David England, lots of rain, quite a lot of flooding
