Discourse on Floating Bodies, by Galileo Galilei 37729 [Translator: Thomas Salusbury] [Link: http://www.gutenberg.org/3/7/7/2/37729 ] [Files: 37729.txt; 37729-8.txt; 37729-h.htm] Thanks to Tim Madden and the Online Distributed Proofreading Team at http://www.pgdp.net (This file was produced from images generously made available by The Internet Archive) Information from submitter: There are three possible titles for this book. It is taken from "Discourse on Bodies in Water" edited by Stillman Drake, who noted that the work is more commonly referred to as "Discourse on Floating Bodies". Within Drake's book is a facsimile of Salusbury's translation titled: "A Discourse Concerning the Natation of Bodies upon, and Submersion in, Water", and this is what's being submitted. All the modern material is omitted, so it doesn't make sense to use Drake's title. This will explain the contents of the "title" tag used in the HTML file. Regards, Al
