The Humourous Story of Farmer Bumpkin's Lawsuit, by Richard Harris 30551 [Link: http://www.gutenberg.org/3/0/5/5/30551 ] [Files: 30551.txt; 30551-0.txt; 30551-h.htm] For those wishing to know: Richard Harris was a Barrister in Victorian London and wrote this to expose sharp-practice and major failures in the legal system. It does assume some familiarity with the legal system as it then stood, but is written as a story. The humour comes mainly from the dialect of the characters, it's a pretty grim tale. All the best, David, England, sun shining but rather cold
