I post two images a day onto our Facebook page and have never had this problem. I wonder if the problem is with the type of image. Try different image types and see if this makes a difference. It is also possible that the size of the image could be a problem. Can you try several different image sizes as well. About the book covers generated by PG. Some autistic people complained about them at Mastodon since they have a sensory dysfunction and it seems that our covers arrives in a distorted way in their brains. Hope this helps in some way. The unfurl is cached. It's likely that it gets refreshed periodically and that there may be separate caches serving different parts of the globe.
