For those wishing to know: Rev. George Hall (1863-1918) had Gypsy friends 
as a child, and although he became a curate and eventually rector in the 
Church of England, still spent a lot of his time with his many Gypsy 
friends.  The book gives numerous incidents from his life in connection 
with the Romany people.
