For those interested: this is a brief Welsh to English dictionary for
Welsh speakers based on two earlier Welsh to English dictionaries. It's
unclear how the older dictionaries made up this one, or what Owen M.
Edwards (who published this as part of a series of Welsh books) did.
However, he must have done something to combine the two dictionaries so
I've made him the author.

There's a fair bit in this book which looks very unusual and I suspect may
be mis-printed - that's both in the English meanings, and also in the
Welsh. Welsh friends think Owen M. Edwards writes "funny Welsh", but then
again this comes from very old dictionaries, and the Welsh might be what
was then current.

If you don't have Welsh you'll find this Welsh to English dictionary very
hard to use - the same with all other Welsh to English dictionaries. This
is because Welsh has mutations which change the start of a word, whilst
the dictionary only lists the word in its unmutated form. So in vain you
look for ngardd and ardd, unless you know they are mutated forms of gardd
which the dictionary explains is garden.

Nos da (good night).

All the best,
David,
Very hot England
