For those wishing to know: "Father Ignatius", real name Joseph Leycester 
Lyne (1837-1908), was a Londoner who tried to reintroduce monastacism to 
the UK, and provoked a number of riots in doing so.  E.g. see Norfolk 
Annals, Vol. 2, (http://www.gutenberg.org/files/36206/36206-h/36206-h.htm, 
26 November 1863 etc.)
