For those wishing to know: On 1st June 1794 England had a major navel 
victory against the French, and so most churches would preach sermons 
saying the nation should be thankful etc.  Kensington was little developed 
at this period but was home to many of the upper classes, and royality, 
and so would especially mark the occasion.  No doubt Rev. Phillimore's 
sermon was well-received so he had a it printed.
