For those wishing to know: this is one of many replies to the Rev. 
Wodehouse publishing a pamphlet which claimed Church of England clergy 
didn't "subscribe" (i.e. believe) to the Church's doctrines.  To make 
matters worse, in the 1st edition of the Rev. Wodehouse's pamphlet he 
claimed Rev. Green thought the same - which came as a nasty shock to 
Green.
