Many thanks to UK volunteer Les Bowler for doing this.  For those wishing 
to know it's a popular Australian detective story in the traditional mold 
- starts with a mystery and then deepens it.  Henry Fletcher was English 
and lived in Australia for some time, publishing novels etc.
