For those wishing to know: John Philip Gell was an evangelical Church of 
England clergyman (Perpetual Curate of St. John's Notting Hill, London) 
when we came across a book by a fellow Vicar, Mayow Wynell Mayow (see 
release 49115) containing sermons preached in nearby Brompton.  Gell wrote 
this small pamphlet in reponse to Wynell's book.  It's a very well done 
piece of criticism but Gell got the title wrong - Mayow preached in 
Brompton, not Kensington - an easy mistake to make.
