My copy of the above book was published and copyrighted by The Bobbs-Merrill Company, 1913. I discovered while scanning it that it was missing two leaves - the ones for pages 3 and 4, and pages 53 and 54. Can someone who may have this book provide me with images of the missing pages? Thanks, Al

Are there still a few people on this list? I have a children's picture book here that would make a nice addition to PG, but I have been unable to find a library record which might help confirm the date of it. Perhaps someone with access to worldcat could help. I've search in Copac (a british union catalog), the LoC catalog and Amicus (Canadian union catalog) and have not been able to find it. Title page transcription is as follows: MY / FIRST PICTURE BOOK. / WITH / THIRTY-SIX PAGES OF PICTURES / [Emblem] / PRINTED IN COLOURS BY KRONHEIM. / LONDON & NEW YORK: / GEORGE ROUTLEDGE AND SONS. Contents are: My First Alphabet The Old Woman who Lived in a Shoe The Babes in the Wood Little Bo-peep The Five little Pigs Old Mother Goose and her son Jack I believe the illustrator is Joseph Martin Kronheim, 1810-1896. Dear Sir(s), Ms. I do not know if this is an error. However, the date is up to conjecture. Therefore, I am writing you. Can you help me out in specifying the correct date ref. the following? On the internet page http://snowy.arsc.alaska.edu/gutenberg/etext06/8lbp310.txt you write that while at Oriel College the British poet and literary critic Joseph Warton, (1722-1800) wrote his poems The Enthusiast and The Dying Indian. I am presently interested in The Dying Indian. That poem was first published in 1755 in Dodsley's A Collection of Poems, IV (1755) I do now doubt the possibility that Warton wrote the poem in 1744, but I would like to know what is your source for claiming that the poem was written in 1744, when Joseph Warton was 22 years old? Perhaps ypou can refer me to an expert on the subject if it is impossible for you to clarify the answer to the question. I thank you for your time and co-operation Frederick W. Dame
