I guess my next question is does your RST conversion handle inline/block math? I saw in the official RST documentation they have the syntax to inline LaTeX math. Since I know you did that back in the day for the TEI stuff, I'm wondering if you've done that here as well? If so, that will erase a huge part of my concerns about RST.
