For those wishing to know: Henry Alford was a famous Greek and biblical 
scholar, Dean of Canterbury etc.  In 1870 he gave this talk about why he 
thought biblical revision (translating the Bible into England etc.) would 
forever be an on-going process, and gave thoughts on it.  It's quite 
short.
