For those wishing to know: Vaughan was a prominent churchman and in 1872 
preached this sermon to encourage people to support the British and 
Foreign Bible Society.  He doesn't really plug the Society (which most 
other such sermons do), but as in most of his pamphlets he takes an 
unusual approach.
